no, that won't work

Remember, the word "chelate" just means "to bind to"

in this case the zinc is bound to, i.e. chelated to, the amino acid methionine. Therefore it is not free to chelate any copper

You need the zinc to be in a form that is ready to bind and chelate such as zinc acetate
