Re: What kind of marketing are you paying for and why?
I completely agree with Clare. Like with my blog....I know that it isn't going to reach every woman in the world. Sure, I wish that it could, but I know that it won't. BUT.....IT DOES REACH SOME. Keep remembering that. For each and every woman who does read it and make a decision to to get it removed or to never get it in the first place, that it one more woman that you saved from a living hell that we all had to endure. That alone is a reason to keep it up. Even if you can't move forward and you just have to keep it a free site. Don't take it down....that will only reach less women. The way that I look at it is that each woman who goes through this torture is someone who shouldn't. So....each woman spared from this because of a blog, a petition, etc, that they saw is worth keeping it there. Think about it--what if that one woman who was reached was YOU? Each woman out there is just like us....just as undeserving to have to endure this. I know that it is frustrating to not reach the multitudes that we wish we could reach.....but we have to rememberthat each woman out there is another one "just like me ". That makes a difference. It means something. If YOU could have been that one woman who was saved, it changes your whole perspective, right? Think about how many women HAVE been helped or saved by our writings....NOT how many have not.
You are doing great things. If you have to keep it a free site that only a certain amount of women will see, so be it. But don't take it down....that helps no one. We have to fight...and we all have to remember that every woman spared from the he'll we have gone through is a HUGE victory.
Don't forget the good that you are doing. Don't take it down. Think of every woman out there as another "you". One at a time, with these writings, they are being reached. There have been many times that I have thought about stoping my blog because it is so hard to keep reliving it...but then I remember how much I would have given anything to have found that kind of support and information back in the days of my middle-of-the-night-panic-filled-desperate searches. That keeps me writing. YOU ARE MAKING A DIFFERENCE! For each one you reach, that is one woman who stays strong, a husband who doesn't lose his wife and children who don't lose their momma and wonder what is wrong with her. To some, that may not seem like much, but to that woman--to her family--it means EVERYTHING. Don't ever forget the power that your writings have. To one....to thousands.....don't think about that. It is still power.
Don't get discouraged. You may think that your site isn't helping "enough", but I guarantee that a woman who was saved all of this suffering--because of what she read on your website--would disagree.
You are affecting lives. One at a time. And each one means so much. Don't ever forget that.
