On Wednesday, November 3, 2010, I had a formal phone consult with Shirley. Shirley had a previous formal consult with me five years before to discuss her chronic hepatitis C. Hepatitis C is the kind of lethal viral disease for which modern medicine has NO safe or reasonably effective treatment. I had forgotten about her first consult. She reminded me with a deep gratitude. She told me how I advised her to see my friend Dr. Jim Hutton of Sedona, Arizona for ultraviolet blood irradiation therapy (UBI). You might wonder why I sent her there, when I do UBI.

Dr. Hutton has the last still-operating Knott UBI machine (and, boy, am I jealous). The old machines were at least 25 times more powerful than what we have today. I have every published American paper on Knott’s UBI. It knocked out hepatitis (A and B in those days) quickly. The available machines today just don’t have that kind of power or delivery. And for hepatitis C, I think it’s necessary. So I sent Shirley to see Dr. Hutton.

Shirley went for three weeks of treatment. I never knew she did it until we talked last year. That’s when she told me of her experience. Miraculously, she has been viral FREE for the past five years! This kind of result should make every infectious disease specialist’s head spin. It should make the FDA jump off its horrific mentality to quickly get a potential cure of a lethal disease to the American people.

But now for the opposite of a miracle. Knott’s company went under in the 1960s, a victim of the Antibiotic mentality of the times, and the attitude of medical pundits. It was easier to cure a bacterial infection with an Antibiotic than one to three non-toxic treatments of only seven ounces of blood treated with UBI.

Today, there are companies trying to duplicate the Knott technology. But we still don’t have a functioning machine that can match what Knott developed decades ago. The FDA is largely responsible for this. I believe the agency participated in the destruction of Knott and his machine. And it appears to be doing all in its power to deny this blessing for humanity from ever reaching a desperate population. Were a UBI machine approved for any indication, hepatitis, AIDS or anything, doctors would be free to use it for anything they choose.

Just imagine the fall out. Patients dying of almost any kind of infection, no matter what kind, no matter how lethal or advanced, might leave the hospital in a few days from a single treatment! MRSA treatment problems might vanish (Knott’s UBI cured staph quickly in 1944). Hospital costs and infection-treatment costs might plummet. But the revenue stream of current toxic and inefficient therapies to Pharma would be instantly jeopardized. Now you understand why the FDA has not allowed the resurrection of the Knott technology.

I believe this is a crime against humanity. There are millions of people in the U.S. alone with currently incurable viral infections. Thousands die from curable MRSA who we could save, cheaply and safely! Worldwide there is a horrendous rise in Antibiotic resistant infection deaths. And our FDA doesn’t want to approve a UBI machine that can cure the infection.

We don’t have a “health care” system. We have a “disease maintenance” system. And the FDA is the gatekeeper of this swindle of medical liberty.

I will have much more on UBI and oxidation in upcoming issues. But in the meantime, please flood your Congressional leaders with heartfelt requests for an investigation into draconian FDA power. The FDA allows needless deaths of the American people. It’s high time that this truly miracle cure gets out of the box the FDA wants to keep it in.
