Finishing a 7-day juice fast

Tonight is the final evening of a 7-day juice fast, and I want to share my experience with you.

I've tried fasting in the past and was only able to go 1-2 days before giving up so I'm thrilled that I was able to stick it out 7 days this time.

Part of the reason for my success this time was doing a parasite cleanse and Bowel Cleanse before starting the fast. Having done these two other cleanses, I feel that my body was not screaming at me the way it had on previous cleanses. The other key was that I eased into by doing a partial juice fast for one week before starting.

I had struggles along the way: headaches, nausea, body aches, weakness, dizziness and fatigue...typical detox symptoms. Hunger was not one of the struggles. My stomach would groan and grumble, but I never interpreted that as real hunger.

I was surprised at how little encouragement, and how much discouragement, I received from my circle of friends, but I didn't let it bother me.

The high points were feeling light, a strong spiritual energy (at times) and breathing freely through my nose (which is usually clogged).

Other positive changes are:
1. a skin tag that recently developed on my face is gone
2. my chronic body pain has subsided substantially
3. i passed lots of mucus and parasites
4. my protruding belly has flatted
5. waking up early in the morning feeling refreshed and happy

I'm actually sad to be stopping my fast tomorrow because I'm seeing so many happy results, but I have increased my fasting confidence so will be back at it again soon.

Next on my list is liver flushing.
