the Iodine can be reduced to potassium Iodide easily
so definitely keep it away from vitamin C

if you are taking SSKI doesn't matter when you take it

I put my 50mg of Lugol's in about 8 oz of water or so
some don't like taste and put it in gelcap and swallow with water
