My problems with eating sweets and carbs were that they would turn my bowel movements into "million wipers" as I used to call them to myself. I'm sure you catch my drift. They also gave me drowsiness, fatigue, etc., the whole nine yards of candida symptoms, but the degradation of my BMs was what used to irk me the most.
I based my DMSA protocol off of Cutler's book, starting out @ 25mg every four hours and working up to 100mg. Then for the second round I started doing 50mg every two hours, which seems to be even more effective.
