It does sound like your son has Morgellons because of the details you mentioned. My opinion is that the type of Morgellons that you described is not contagious from person to person, but an environmental pollutant that is manmade.

It is puzzling though that he is doing so well since most suffer immensely from it.

His immune system must be strong for now, otherwise he may have the brain fog, depression and pain, crawling biting,  and stinging sensations that are overwhelming.

It is easy to focus on the tormenting symptoms on the skin and want to pull it out or do various things to try to elimanate Morgellons from the surface of our bodies. The real battle is within our intestines and the focus needs to be there to break the cycle of self-replication.
