Add doxycycline to first line treatment for blastocystis?

Hey guys,

The centre in Australia has just sent me the meds of the first line treatment (I hope they will easily pass Belgian customs) but I'm still in doubt whether or not I should add doxycycline as well? D. Fragilis didn’t show up for me but I only had two stool tests done and I’m afraid for false negative results (considering BH and DF have found to accompany each other a lot).
The Centre would not recommend treating any parasite that has not been detected in the stool sample. They say Antibiotics should not be administered prophylactically in this situation.
Does anyone have suggestions for me about adding it or not?(despite doctors advice)?
