Bromine detox and the need for salt

Sad someone here was having problems with their kidneys. on Iodine detox. I cannot find the message.
I am reading Dr. Browstein on bromine detox. He states when we take iodine, it releases bromine to the kidneys, where it can remain and do harm, if a person does not take in addition salt to flush it out. So more than likely that person with kidney pain must have a load of bromine in the kidneys and needs to use salt to flush, as Dr. Browstein tells it will not leave the kidneys without more than adequate salt pushing it out. david lubbock tx.
