candida and prostate

Hello all,
My urologists says my prostate is inflammed at my last appointment where i was scoped.
I am on nystatin for three weeks, and feeling the best i have in 4 years. however, i have alot of pain/dull ache in my groin area which i am suspecting the infalmmed prostate. Does candida and the prostate coincide ?

Anyone that has experienced prostate problems please, please reply
