Yes, eating is the Main Issue because we can only Fast for brief periods in comparison. I've had to give up Carrots and Bananas when I am eating, because of their high Sucrose levels. I've just about decided to eliminate all Fruit altogether, and go strictly with Greens and Vegetables.
Now the question is how to eat enough calories to maintain a body weight that doesn't scare people. I'm 17.3 Stones, or 130 pounds. Sometimes I wish I could eat like everyone else, and be fat. But, as the Bible says, "To whom much is given, much is required".
