24 Hours Later

This is the message I read that inspired me to put a few drops of Iodine in some urine and put it in my ear to see if it would get the water out of my ear after shampooing my hair in the shower:

I am not having as good of results. I normally use hydrogen peroxide when I get water in my ear, but sometimes it is several hours before the peroxide comes out. So I was hoping the urine would clear up the problem more quickly.

Unfortunately, when I put the mixture in my ear, it went in way deeper than peroxide ever does. It is now 24 hours later. My ear is still way stopped up and it is beginning to hurt.

I hope the hurting is from all the attention my ear is getting and not from an infection setting in.

I have tried hydrogen peroxide, warm coconut oil with iodine, CS/Distilled Water/Iodine, Homeopathic ear drops, ear wax removal. I passed up the mUrine ear drop medicine at the drug store and bought some ear plugs that are supposed to suck water out of your ear, but that didn't do anything for it.

I am all wishing I had not done this, because I am afraid the Urine is going rancid in my head, and might give me an infection that needs Antibiotics . I do not recommend urine in the ear.

Even if I figure out how to get it out without going to the doctor, the worrying I have done about urine getting funky in my head, instead of coming right back out, would prevent me from using it again. I'm sure glad I put a few drops of Iodine in it or I would really be scared.
