It is strange how US citizens have allowed the situation you speak of to flourish. I have been surprised by the 'post's' that I read here on CZ. in fact it has dropped me in hot water a number of times not knowing facts such as those.

The UK has started to become some sort of 'mummy state' at times where we are advised, but it fades away into oblivion after a while.

As far as vaccination is concerned, it is still in voluntary status so one has the choice and the situation is equally the same in regards to gardens etc.

How has the situation come about in the US?
Do you think that elections are too razzamatazz there instead of politicians made to get to grips with the reality of life?

I am only surmising but it just appears to be that way when shown on our screens here.
Personalities rather than content?
