Yeah, Interfase Plus messed me up. Instant hypocalcemia.
Jarrow bile acids 3x day for a week. Then taper to a low maintenance dose. It accumulates so back off at the first sign of diarrhea.
You could substitute oxbile.
Then begin Dews bile salts 6 caps/day, two per meal. Relief was quick, but I maintained this dose for two months.
I continue to take two Dew's capsules per week. And bile acids only on occasion.
The vitamin c was not buffered. It is less effective if buffered. However, I did use Magnesium Carbonate, and occasionally Mag/Cal Carbonate (Dolomite) about an hour after meals which has a staggered/delayed buffering effect. It can also be used to put the brakes on the vitamin c if you accidentally take too much. Used this way, it also improves motility, which was an issue for me.
