Yeah that's correct the HCL and enzymes were started on my own jan 1st. The bile acid and butyraid were added about 1 month ago. I'm really pleased with the results. I would say generally that the HCL and enzymes prevented svere constipation for me. I went once a day after that. However the bile acid took 3 or 4 days to make difference and then the stools softened way up. At that point I should have cut back to 10 or 20% of the daily 1500mg I was taking because I got diareah for nearly a week. I didn't think that would be possible. I was actually happy! Gross.... I guess anything goes here...
I got intersted in bile acids after reading an article about the role of bile in detoxification. I was going to post about then I noticed Tony already had, then I found his protocol which included the butyraid (great reviews on amazon).
Given your issues with fat digestion and constipation I would expect you to react very well to the addition of bile acid. I'm hoping for you.
I should mention that I'm also 1000% gluten free and egg and almond free which I know explains much of my improvement. I had a mishap with "malt flavoring" sick for 3 days but it was more the toxic feeling, people said I was pale, return of irregualr heart rythms, foggy thinking, coma like lack of energy ect... In other words the exposure to malt (gluten) did not cause digestive distress. Lesson learned ( for the 3rd time ).
I am able to play tennis again and even won the last 2 out of 3. We will see where this is going but a return to full health, even with food restrictions seems near. Honestly my biggest problem at this point is I tend to get excited and push myself too hard. Whereas I know relaxing and healing should really be the mindset right now I find myself wanting to go all out too soon, too often.
