Anyone else get sunburned really easily since candida?
For most of my life, until a few years ago, I used to get tanned fairly easily in the sun, and could work up a really rich, dark tan if I wanted to. At most I would get a tinge of burn at first that would be uncomfortable, but never anything serious.
Fast forward post-candida overgrowth, I'm now getting burnt just from riding my bike around town for a few hours. The first time I realized something was wrong was when I went to the beach once last summer and wound up getting probably the worst burn of my life; like borderline hospital trip burn. Not to mention, I don't even get tan after these recent burns, my skin just goes back to bright white again.
My gut feeling is that it has something to do with a toxin overload/lack of antioxidants/lack of glutathione/etc. going on in my body. I know that "sun sensitivity" is a common symptom of candida--anyone else notice improvement trying to remedy it?
