One cause of these hearing sensations is that the jawbone joint where the jaw fits into the skull may be slightly out of place. The joints are just inwards from the ears. I can usually settle my jaw back in place by putting my thumbs under the jaw and pressing down on my chin with my fingers. Then I massage my neck on both sides using downward strokes and if there are rigid muscles pressind firmly until they relax. Be sure to press with equal pressure on both sides od the neck so you won't displace a verterbra. Using heat may help and keeping the neck warm with a turtleneck shirt. Relaxing the muscles in the neck also helps with brain fog - I think it increases circulation to the brain. You may need to see a dentist to have your bite adjusted.
