check the link I gave you on the cedar oil site. I think you purchase the equipment to mist it. But you also could just try spraying it on all surfaces and then the air of the room as you leave. The cedar oil is overpowering. You might need one of those filtered masks. I use the cedar oil on my dog and I spray her fur outside, when I sprayed her inside, the fumes were overpowering.
