I don't think the white tongue means candida is directly affecting the tongue. The color is the result of an internal unbalance where candida is present deep in the intestine. When the infection regrowth inside the gut, the tongue turns white very quickly. The tongue reflects what is happening inside. For instance, there are people who have a partial white tongue, those people have a mild unbalance or mild candida. I lived in that way for many years without severe symptoms. There are others who the tongue turns totally white, these people have more serious fungal infection. I have read many reports about it.
