ACV and regular vinegar that you buy at the supermarket are pretty much nothing alike with respect to their effect on the body. I don't think you can really compare the two.
With respect to ACV's effect on candida, I do know that a tablespoon or two of ACV together with warm water and raw honey (recently manuka) makes me feel better if I drink it every day. It actually seems to improve my digestion. I know that seems like counter-intuition with respect to candida, but oh well.
