Question for an asthmatic

I'm planning on beginning The Master Cleanse tomorrow and I am an asthmatic. I'm not going to stop taking my medication, however, I'd like to know if this program makes it difficult to breathe and in general whether or not this program is o.k. for people who have asthma.
