Fasting is a healing/cleansing modality. Most toxins are stored in fat. Fasting does not work by the restriction of calories. It is NOT a weight loss diet. The more you restrict calories by drinking less juice. The more you also slow down the metabolism which in turn signals the body to horde fat for leaner times. Being a "healing" modality the body will address what it needs to the most first. Often this does not involve weight loss.
