I noticed that what's his name had to promote his product in this thread too. Sheesh.
My design is not a good one. I have a 9 volt AC adapter and 2 ten gauge .9999 silver wires. I use distilled water that tests at 1 ppm or less with my Hanna PWT. I make a quart at a time. If I seed it, it takes about 4 hours. If I don't, it takes about 8 hours. My husband doesn't see the reason to have a resister (sp?). Would someone explain this to me so I can explain it to him?
I wipe down the rods at timed intervals (sp?) beginning with 15 minutes and go down gradually to every 5 minutes as the ppm goes up. The result is a crystal clear product at 15ppm.
Even with a poor design (wrong voltage and no resister) the stuff I make WORKS and works very very well. I'd still like to explain to my husband why we should change our "design".
