I must say goodbye
It seems that the majority on this forum want to fast against documented proof and follow local gurus who have no proof of what they are doing. Having a successful one time fast is not sufficient proof that the long time repucussions will not come.
As with many cancer drugs who seem good in the beginning and later on only prove to be deadly for a few. Long time dry fasting is not recommended without doctor supervision. For me to advocate such insane practices would be against what I believe in. You are given a body to take care of and any abuse must be frowned on.
Be careful who you are trusting. Here is a quote you may consider.

About Dry Fasting by: Medangel
Hello...To answer your question...a dry fast is when you abstain from water and food. There is an extreme way to dry fast. This involves never touching water (showers, washing hands and such). I have to shower, so I have just abstained from food and water. I dont know about other people who have done or tried this method of fasting, but for me...I was medically supervised. I dry fasted for a few days without dehydration or starvation. I even had blood work done during my fast, which came out fantastic. I have heard others say that this type of fasting is dangerous. I do not see the harm in dry fasting for a couple of days (2 or 3), but if someone wants to go longer...they should be supervised by a physican. As I was. |
You should never go on extended fasting based on someones local blog. I warn each one of you to shun this kind of fasting and go back to short fasts that benefit your body not harm it. Other than that I wish you all well. Arguing with people on a daily basis is both a waste of my good time and effort.
