Re: cuzjay...
crazy it is, same here I saw an expert well known parasitologist this year at the London Tropical Diseases Hospital and this man said smugly that I could not possibly have a disseminated infestation in my scalp, face and body head tissues. I replied asking him how could he say that with absolute certainty just by looking at me but he just laughed it off. The consultant was Peter Chiodini, a patronizing, smug man who just about agreed to take a standard serology profile, nothing was found ofcourse because it's in the subcutaneous tissue not the blood that's infested and, why should he know that! He would not consider my request to scan for tissue infection, they have technology but I go no where there either.
there was his junior assistant as well at my consultation who would you believe it, told me that
parasites are good for you, we all have them he said! I got the impression when he went on to say that in the war solders [can't spell that one!] got strongyloides and they are still alive today having reached a very old age and it did'nt harm them!!
I should have known better than go to see him, an absolute waste of time and energy and so damn disheartening when you need their expertise whatever that means!
if they autopsy my body, they would truly find the evidence and how I would like to think this proof would be passed on to this expert.
