It's also possible that bromide detox is causing low libido.
Extra effort might be made to ensure bromide is being excreted rather getting "stuck" in the bloodstream and acting as a drug.
The exact bromide compound in the antidepressant, Buspar, was used in the 1950s to suppress women's sex drive.
