I've read Gittleman's book and many of the writings of Dr. Wilson -- the problem is, they contradict each other on this topic.
Gittleman says that if you're copper toxic, you need to drastically reduce/eliminate copper in your diet to clear out your stores, EVEN if you measure low in blood copper.
Wilson says if you measure low blood copper but have toxic stores of copper in tissues, you must take in some dietary copper along with supplements to decrease copper in tissue stores, but neither of these approaches makes total sense to me. How, for example, to you tell Moly-B to take copper only out of your tissues and allow the copper your currently eating to be absorbed in your bloodstream? It doesn't make sense...
Has anyone else had biounavailable copper and resolved this issue?
