Re: Licorice root or DGL for H Pylori???

Am planning to eliminate my H Pylori infection. Which is more effective licorice root or DGL??

I prefer plain licorice root powder so the anti-inflammatory component is still present.

I will also use mastic gum. I am 100% sure is the cause of all my problems.
How Long does it usually take to eliminate H Pylori completely??

About 2 months.

Is there any other bacteria that may inhabit the stomach that needs to be eliminated??

In general most bacteria will not survive the stomach's acidity.  But stomach acid naturally declines with age and people often increase their risk of stomach infection by taking antacids, acid blockers (proton pump inhibitors), alkaline waters, or certain supplements such as calcium carbonate (oyster shell, coral, dolomite) or magnesium oxide.  Reducing stomach acid allows more pathogens to survive in the stomach or passage through the stomach where they can cause disease.  This can not not only mean bacteria, but also other pathogens such as Candida.
