Maybe it's an energy thing....it takes more energy for your body/adrenals to process certain foods than others. If those "problem" foods don't have the right nutrients for tired adrenals it may just tire them more. Would you be willing to eat chicken or calf's liver? They have a lot of nutrients that are helpful for the adrenals (iron, vitamin A etc.). Also, maybe several smaller meals throughout the day would help. Just a theory.....
