I know,I guess it looked like if I was wondering that for myself, but I was trying to figure out what mistake the man that claims he has lung damage from ozone therapy made lol..Ive studies Ozone up and down, and know its a BIG no no to breath it in unless it has been ran through olive oil.
It is impossible to say what he did wrong based on so little information. He could have had a very high output unit, such as those using high frequency transformers. These can put out such high concentrations that it would not be hard to hurt the lungs if it gets in to the face. Or I have seen people develop problems from the air purification units when they turn them up too high for the size room. But again a lot of the problem with these units is from the acids they form, and not solely the ozone.
With the home air purification units they should be mounted up as high in the house as possible to allow the ozone to break down as it sinks down, and their power needs to be adjusted to control the output for the size of the room.
