 I created a login just to respond to your post about Ozone. I suffered permanent lung damage from exposure to Ozone. It is highly toxic and destroys lung tissue, even in small doses.

This is not true.  If that were the case then we would have all been dead a long time ago.  Are you aware that we inhale ozone on a daily basis.  Sunlight generates ozone all the way down to ground level, and that sweet smell you smell during a lightening storm is also ozone.  Same sweet smell around copying machines.

Ozone can damage the lungs in high doses from the oxidation of garbage on the lung surface, which generates heat.  If the lungs cannot dissipate the heat quick enough the lung tissue can "cook".

But a lot of the problems from ozone generators occur from the use of the common household air purifying units, which are either UV or hot corona units.  Both of these generate damaging acids in the presence of air.  These nitrogen and sulfur based acids are very irritating to the tissues and can also cause tissue damage in high enough concentrations.

Regardless, anyone knowing anything about ozone therapy knows that inhalation of ozone IS NOT recommended.  If you look in to ozone therapy you will see a number of different application methods, none of which include inhalation.  Unfortunately people use ozone in ways not recommended and when something goes wrong the ozone gets blamed.  I wonder if they decided to inhale chemotherapy when it is not designed to be used that way if they would blame the ozone for their damage?

It's shocking to me that Ozone devices are still being sold.

I am surprised cars are still being sold considering how many people a year they injure and kill each year (note sarcasm).

The weatherman reports high ozone days during the forecast because it is a poison like other types of pollution. Please do a search on Ozone health hazards before you expose yourself to this toxin.

This is another common misconception.  Ozone levels increase with the increase of automobile smog since the sunlight also reacts with the smog to form ozone.  So the ozone is actually an indicator or pollution levels.  And thanks to ozone all that carbon monoxide being spewed out of vehicles and fireplaces has not killed you.  That ozone reacts with the deadly carbon monoxide and converts it in to the much less toxic carbon dioxide.  So you ought to thank ozone for keeping you alive!
