what is the meaning of my dream - it freaked me out a litle

HI,
I had a dream where i had clover and small young plants (like plant shoots) growing out from the lower half of my arms (covered the top part like hair would).

one arm's growth was slightly more mature than the other and i was able to rip it off (painfully) like your would pull off wax. the other arms growth was a bit younger and i couldnt pull it off without significant pain and tearing of skin.

i woke up very disturbed sand even a little afraid and a strong feeling that this dream meant something ( i dont often get that feeling) - but cant figure out what it means?

any suggestions ?
