Re: Does young wheatgrass plants juice contains agglutinin
I considered wheatgrass juice or barleygrass juice as unconditional super-juice for almost any kind of detox.
But I've read somewhere that one third of the WGA deposited or formed in seed during germination( wheatgrass agglutinin ) is migrated to the leaves. OTher two thirds are deposited to the roots.
I have no possibilites to provide some biochemical tests to
be souvereign. I hope one day I'll be able to. But at the moment it seems to me very importat to be aware of all
( even smallest ) possible risk that could infulence on the body or condition during regular intaking of wheatgrass juices or fasting. My whole perception on the wheatgrass juice changed from that point of getting this information.
So I would really apreciate your experience or directions.
Some of us have and another do not produce anti-bodies for lectins agglutinin.
As I understood the biological role of agglutinin during germinations would be to protect the seed germ or sprout from mold or fungi's.
Thank you once more for any information or hint.
