Die-off often gives me temporary high cortisol / insomnia
I haven't seen this mentioned in Czone, but it's consistent with me. If I take a strong anti-
parasite product, I get temporary high cortisol as the
parasites die off. I've noticed this over years of experimentation.
My anti-
parasite products vary, so it's not some kind of allergy to the ingredients - it's very clear cut in me: excess energy, slightly pounding heart, and insomnia for around 48 hours as the anti
parasite product kicks in and something dies off. I have a short list of a few products (raw garlic is one of them for me) that does this to me.
I used to think this reaction was allergies to something I was eating, or to the products, but process of careful experimentation has proven otherwise to me. (everyone is different, of course)
Anyway, many people in this forum say that with some products they have to stop taking them due to insomnia from taking them, and I wonder if what they are experiencing is similar to me - temporary high cortisol due to die off from the product, rather than some kind of intolerance to the product.
And if so, the product might still be very useful to that person...My solution for myself has been to reduce the dosage of whatever product I'm taking, and gradually increase the dosage more slowly.
