I just read a post that makes so much sense!

So many of you that frequent the board often know i'm weening off benzos(making my second cut today down to 20mg of valium yay!)

anyways, it clicked...I wondered why I would have the same symptoms of benzo withdrawal even without a cut. Which i had the other day, insomnia, head pressure, headaches, electric jolts in body. Nervous system all messed up. Then I read UNY's post about candida an gaba receptors...which i've actually had this idea in my head for a while. If candida produces alcohol, by feeding or killing it. Then it would interfere with my GABA receptors as well! I would eat some almond butter or drink my veggie juice with carrots apples Celery an cucumber an superfood an feel better almost instantly. i'm assuming it's because I gave my body just enough Sugar to counteract the withdrawal an produce a small amount of alcohol? but then I had that sorta drunk/hungover feeling. Which I prefer obviously over the other option.

That's why I started xanax in the first place....cause when i cut the food source for candida, i had withdrawal!

Once i'm off the benzos, i think i'll be able to manage the withdrawals from candida with natural herbs an barefooting and etc..

My doc said before the end of the year i'll be off valium. I'm not trying to rush it, cause I don't want to have to start over. slow and steady wins the race! sadly my poor liver has to wait a lil longer til i will support it! Once my cuts are consistent i'll start my if2 again and then echinechea.

That is all! just some food for thought!

More and more of the real me is coming back though, inspiration, creativity, humor. Slowly but surely.

I also made a painting depicting the pain i've been through
