Glad to hear you are better! Even if the current therapy does not cure you entirely (which it just might), it will buy you a lot of time to research your condition.
Calcification is typically how body reacts to an infection it cannot fight: it surrounds it with calcium. Then ova, or spores, or whatever it was, dies "entombed" in there. That's the "last resort" type of immune system action as calcium deposits are not good for the human body.
In addition to what you are doing, and I hope it works out, you should still find out exactly what caused those calcium deposts. No health problem comes "out of the blue" unless it is a genetic defect.
The best thing is to keep a journal and follow your symptoms exactly, even as you are getting better. Not just "pain" but what type and how long and so on... then some day things fall into place, you define the exact problem and - bingo!
