No one on here is a doctor. I HATE doctors, but my husband suffered severe kidney damage because he kept telling us he was fine, when he was NOT. Swelling up is not a good sign. You could have high or low potassium levels. Can't you go and get a blood test at a lab or one of the online lab test websites to see what your kidneys are doing?

Not knowing and taking all these herbs that (some have) high potassium could be doing more harm than good.

You need to find out your creatinine and your eGFR and potassium and sodium levels and BUN. I would not mess around with anything if I was swelling and having blood in my urine. Get a blood test NOW.
