Thanks:) He did try to remove it, but it was extremely painful and he wasn't getting anywhere. Basically my cervix was too high up, so he was trying to pinch it, pull it down and hold it in place, and get inside to get to the strings.

Yes. Pain.

So he said he would put me on the waiting list for surgery and that it would only take 1-3 months. But then the people who actually plan the surgery called and said it's more like a year.

I'm hoping to talk to him today and get him to bump me up to an urgent status.
