Re: Alternate view
Yes the chances are small but they are still there and now I know because I literally almost died. I don't drink and I never have. I have always hated the taste of alcohol. I did not have any health issues until I got pregnant. When I was 6 months pregnant I started to have gallbladder attacks. I just tried to watch my diet and bare with it but the attacks would still come on periodically. I may of had
Gallstones for years and they did not really make themselves known until I got pregnant. My grandmother had a bad gallbladder and I think there may be a genetic component here. Some people are prone to make HUGE stones that are not passable. I became one of those people. In Feb I had a really bad attack and I decided to go to the doctor the next day and they ordered an ultrasound. They had found that my liver was enlarged and inflamed and that I had
Gallstones but I told them no the surgery that first time because I was no longer in pain and I thought I would just flush slowly because I am breastfeeding. The weird thing is for the past few months I have felt like my time to die was coming soon and I tried to treasure every moment with my son and and husband. I prayed every night for God to let me live so I could see my son grow up. Its a strange feeling and it makes me wonder if some people know that they are going to die before they pass on. The feeling that I am going to die is not longer with me now though. :) Well In Feb They tested me for every kind of liver disese and disorder and everything came up clean. I asked the doctor if my liver issues were because of the gallbladder becasue the organs do work hand in hand and he said no way. That did not make sense to me because the gallbladder is a helper organ to the liver. Well I decided to self treat myself and I started slow by taking milk thistle and they did a blood a test 1 month later to check my liver enzymes and my liver enzymes were almost normal. I saved the records from both tests so I could show people that natural health really works and the milk thistle helped my liver. Well I waited and then I proceeded with my first flush which went okay I got about 30 good sized stones out. I waited a while to do my second flush and it wasn't until the second flush that I experinced complications and the pain went to my left side. Whenever I would eat the pain would get worse so I resorted to not eating and took it for 2 days until I read the post about pancreatitus and fear started to set in. That night my husband went to work he work on the graveyard shift. I started to feel light headed and I felt like I was going to die if I didn't do something so I called Jason home from work and we went to the ER. In my case the
Gallstones did cause pancreatitus so I know first hand that it can happen even to someone who never drinks.
