This is happening to me where I work. Can't figure out who the S/P is...there are several who may be "it". It's very scarey and not the first time I've been faced with this at work.

To me, it's puzzling how the S/P can conjure all of this up, implement their plan, and then get busy manipulating the people around them...on a daily basis I might add. They are able to get an amazing amount of manipulation accomplished. Every day I notice that they've implemented another ZAP - that affects me - with the other employees. I suspect the others may be completely oblivious to what is going on (many times this is the case).

Management is of no use in these situations. There are some companies who have developed programs to deal with the S/P's fallout. Not many, though. They are able to rehabilitate the S/P in an indirect manner that affects all the players around them as well as the S/P.

BTW - your story is chilling. It could be a minor plot in a best seller.
