Nope, not that I can recall. You're the first! :) & I think you're on to something...

Another factor is that women bear children. The body must "turn off" parts of the immune system in order to accommodate the fetus.

And, getting a little hippy-dippy here... Since women are asked to play so many roles, and a lot of those roles are that of service to others, nurturing others... the sense of "self" can become lost, confused.

I wish I had the time to write that in a more eloquent fashion, but there ya have it! :)
