Re: Hashimoto's Autoimmune Thyroiditis

Very interesting about your case, Ginab4u; IMO staying out of the MDs house is a good place to start. - unless one wants spesific tests done.

When I was in my early twenties my health nightmare started after an Antibiotics + a couple of years of a bad diet. I went to my doctor with what I found out later to be IBS, candida infection ++.
- He said it was a nervous disorder.. There and then I left allopatic medicine.

So what do you do, Gina; to combat your virus infection, CFS; still taking Iodine ? taking enough, doing the full protocol ?

I used to have a lot of virus infections a earlier (mouth ulcers (herpes), influenza, colds); what helped me was the iodine, magnesium, zinc,selenium (viruses cant handle a high magnesium-zinc) but also 3-4 grams of ascorbic acid daily make me more or less immune to whatever goes around.
- I know you might believe only natural vit c; but my experience with it was that it wasnt enough. I believed it was for a couple of years;
I took 10-20 500mg of amla/spirulina tablets daily + 10 servings of fruits, berries and greens, still had the infections.
When I started up with 3-4 grams of ascorbic acid again, the virus infections went away.
