Re: RE: listen to Newport said Trapper.....

I had mine removed as well with no precautions. I had no signs of mercury toxicity as my fillings had been in since I was a teenager and I assumed(incorrectly? correctly? who knows) that the mercury had off-gassed long ago. At any rate, I've had no issues that I can attribute to a "mercury detox" since that time.

And I agree with you Mike that chelation is not to be taken lightly. Gary Littleton, a very mercury-toxic individual, was chelating and died of a stroke. I don't want to sound alarmist here, my memory is hazy on Mr. Littleton, I do recall that he had severe health issues.

Luckily for us, I copy and paste. Here are some of his words re: removing mercury from the brain. Incredibly complicated:

And I think that this is sound advice for anyone that feels that they have metal issues:

And yes, that thread did go off-topic and I also have never heard that one should be not take Iodine OR be wary of selenium with Amalgam fillings.

I'll attempt to speak for Trapper. He posted that to..... stimulate conversation,. It worked.

He also posted that because he feels that his health issues were caused in large part by a mouthful of fillings. He has always stressed getting Amalgams out.
