Evaluation of AAB

Many of you are aware of the work of Carey Reams and others, Beddoes etc. Those researchers were mindful that evaluation of procedures is important rather than using subjective measures. Others argue otherwise.

On this site many of the posters are not too interested in or concerned by the Reams view. Namely that objective evaluation matters. Why not?

Has anyone used Reams analysis to evaluate the ML protocol?
Is there any correlation between the changes people have subjectivily concluded are correct and Reams analysis of those changes or some other evaluation method?

In writing this I do not want to dive behind a brick wall evading the incoming brick bats. Rather I am seeking to understand what evaluation people using the ML protocol and or other methods have used.

Phrasing the question in a different way: How do people know that the best evaluations of the ML protocol are subjective?

Thoughts? Thanks T2.
