have you tried oil pulling? I had a filling fall out and had to wait 5 months before I could get to a holistic dentist to get it fixed. In the mean time I was trying to chew on just one side b/c it was so sensitive. Oil pulling really helped to alleviate the discomfort from having to chew with that tooth and helped to toughen up the area so that eventually I was able to chew w/o any pain right up until I got it refilled. I would recommend that you OP at least once or twice per day in the beginning to notice a difference. I made it a part of my daily commute b/c it took about 20 minutes each way and just kept a bottle of oil the car w/me.
