Pain while chewing food, high filling? Going on 3 years...
My bottom left molar has been hurting when I use it to chew, i'm going on past 2.5 years now with this problem, ever since I got a large filling there from a BAD dentist. I found a new very good dentist 1 year later that re filled the tooth b/c it was not filled correctly, but still have had the pain only while chewing, so I went back 3 times to find out why it hurt so bad while I chew, and each time she grinded it down and that was terrible pain, I hated it and it never helped, one time it made it alot worse, I had to go back and she put something on it that made it back how it was- only pain while chewing, and it's still like that today. I'm never going to have a root canal, so I am living with this pain, chewing only soft foods on that side and chew everything else on my other side (which is taking its toll) I want to believe it's just a high spot but the pain from the dentist grinding it is to much for me, (it's really bad pain while grinding) so I don't know what to do, i've just been waiting to see what happens until the day comes to have it removed. I've had the molar that was behind this molar removed, and i dont miss that molar, it would be weird to not have my last molar left be there but I am not for root canal.Any advice or comments will be appreciated.
