Re: does apple juice help cleanse the liver?!

Apples are very good and have a double action. They are highly recommended either fresh, juiced, stewed or as apple cider vinegar. The malic acid in apples is reported as helping to soften stones and is often used as a preparation for a liver flush. The pectin found in apples binds to the cholesterol in the bile which is then passed out as faecal matter. This makes the liver produce fresh bile which appears to have a cleansing action on the biliary system and also reduces blood cholesterol level.
