does apple juice help cleanse the liver?!

i am gonna start drinking apple juice today and for the next seven days, for the 7-day liver cleanse- was wondering if it helps cleanse the liver also, or does it just help soften the stones in the liver/gall bladder.
oh yes, why does olive oil expell stones in the first place?
