My tip for jumpstarting your water fast
HI fasters, I have attempted
Water Fasting many times, but to go from my experience, I can only do a
Water Fast when I spend a day or two (sometimes three days) eating lightly and drinking water -so total intake of calories 1000 or 1100 max (includes any drinks) and then the next day start your water fast. This helps me not have any cravings during first couple days fasting. So for instance, day 1 (diet, not fast day) have 3 wings 300cal., one McDonald's sundae (or whatever you crave) 330 cal.,2 coffees with cream 100cal., some chips or whatever else is you crave (200cals) and 1 small glass milk 100 cals. So you see how easy it is to have 1000 calories. then that's it till day 2. Day 2, not fasting -let yourself have maybe 600 cals this day. And take mulivitamin, if you have any. Day 3, can be your first day of just water (so actually day 1 water fast). By next day you should be pretty safe -as far as hunger and cravings go.
I did this and lost 5 lbs first two days (and that is just low cal.) and then I was ready to do my water fast. So try this if you are having a difficult time starting your fast.
