That metabolic typing stuff completely didn't work for me either.
My type turns out to be complex carbs and low protein with moderate fat. I got very much worse on that.

The definition of hypoglycemia is low blood sugar. hypo means low, glycemia means sugar. Even on metabolisms that are in fat burning mode (ketosis) if the Sugar level drops too low the body will freak out. Even though there's tons of fat to run most of the body that Sugar is still necessary.
